Calico is a Birmingham-based arts and activism company. We are storytellers that listen, respond and rethink our world. We work with community groups to co-create campaigns encompassing live performances, short films, workshops, and creative technology experiences.

Calico is offering an opportunity for two young creatives aged 18-25 based in Birmingham to lead their own digital arts campaign. If there is a topic that you are passionate about, and  you think you can use your art to make a difference, this is the opportunity for you.

Each participant will lead in directing and materialising their own arts campaign, and will have creative control over their campaign. This might be a short film, recorded performance piece, digital exhibition, photo series or social media campaign, using artforms of your choosing. If you have a story to tell and a way to express it, we are here to support the facilitation of your work!

This a fabulous opportunity for someone in their early career, considering the possibility of working within the arts sector.
