The Scouts are redesigning their provision for 14–24-year-olds which now exist as Explorers and Network.

Currently, lots of Scouts aren’t moving up to Explorers, a lot of Explorers don’t continue to Network and this membership is
not representative of the wider scout society.

The redesign will mean that many more young people aged 14-24, including those
from marginalised communities will gain skills for life, and achieve positive outcomes for their own lives and the lives of
their communities.

Voluntary position with a commitment of an average of five hours a month

• A team of approximately 15-20 young people aged 18 -25 supported by staff and volunteers.

• Duration: January 2024-December 2024 with opportunity to carry on engagement after this point

• All expenses covered and equipment provided, we’ll work with you to meet any accessibility needs

• The Youth Panel meet for monthly online meetings and in-person weekend events every quarter.
