YOUTHACTION NI SEEK YOUNG PEOPLE (AGED 21-25YRS) TO JOIN OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

Involving Young People

As a youth work organisation YouthAction NI place significant value on the effective and meaningful contribution of young people in decision-making.

We are currently seeking young people/ students who can share insight as a young person, and who are from an academic discipline, to contribute to our evolving Board of Directors at YouthAction NI.

What You Will Get Out Of It:

• Representing young people and their issues.
• Experience in governing and leading with purpose in a youth work charity.
• Working as an effective team alongside Board members and the CEO.
• Making effective decisions and managing risk.
• Skills development in areas such as Marketing, Finance, Education, Fund raising and Policy influence

Expectations:

• 4 Collective Board meetings per year.
• 2 Sub group Board meetings per year.
• 1 Annual youth work review meeting (with staff and young people).
• 2 Minimum youth work/youth arts celebration events.
• Upholding the vision, values and reputation of the organisation.
• Induction and support.
