Paid Opportunity for Young People (18–25)! Are you passionate about heritage, youth voice, and making a real impact?

Youth United Foundation have got an opportunity for you to help shape an exciting national heritage project. We’d love for you to be part of our Youth Voice Ambassadors this year.

Here’s the deal:
We’re kicking things off with a one-off online session where we’d love to hear your thoughts on how we involve young people in the project. After that, there’ll be options to get more involved in areas like:
➡️ Digital content creation
➡️ Programme development
➡️ Campaigns & policy
➡️ Evaluation & feedback
➡️ Microgrant decision-making
…and more, depending on what you’re into.

This is a paid opportunity. You’ll be paid £10/hour (or £12.21/hour if you’re over 21) for up to 15 hours over the year. Most of the work will be online and super flexible to fit around your life. We’ll run a short application process if more people are interested than we have space for.

We also hope to have one optional in-person meeting during the year (we’ll cover your time and travel if you come along!), but it won’t be mandatory.

We’re looking for people who:
➡️ Have experience being part of a uniformed youth group (as a young person or young leader).
➡️ Care about heritage and/or making a positive impact.
➡️ Want to help make sure Youth Voice stays central to the project.
➡️ Can give up to 15 hours this year (with quarterly online group calls likely in the evening).
➡️ Are aged 18-25.
