Are you in years 11 or 12? Then join the Portsmouth Inspires programme! Exclusively for young people in Portsmouth, this is your chance to explore new career opportunities in an exciting 3-day ‘behind the scenes’ experience with businesses/organisations unique to Portsmouth.

What does it involve?
The programme takes place over 3-days, with each day focusing on a different skill and a visit to a business in Portsmouth.

Day 1 – High energy team building, public speaking and networking masterclass & a ‘behind the scenes’ visit to a local business.
Day 2 – ‘Behind the scenes’ visit to an independent food business, followed by a ‘building your own brand’ workshop.
Day 3 – ‘Behind the scenes’ to a leading community based organisation and a free celebration evening meal in Gunwharf Quays.

What are the dates?
February half-term on the 19th, 20th and 21st (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)

Can I do this with my friends?

Absolutely! Just pop Jess an email or put on your application form the name(s) of people you would like to be with!

How much is it?

It will cost you nothing, the programme is completely free! You will just need to bring lunch each day or money for lunch.

What if I can’t make it every day?

We know life happens! Pop Jess an email or text to let her know, don’t let that put you off securing your spot!

How many places are available?

We only have 35 spaces available for this programme and it is being offered to around 900 young people across Portsmouth, so secure your place as soon as possible!!

How do I get to the meeting point everyday?

Jess will tell you where to meet each day so you will need to make your own way there. We are able to support financially with travel costs in some cases too!
