NEST: Drop-in for Refugee and Asylum Seeking Young People
Youth Discovery Project’s NEST provides a haven of safety, warmth and community for unaccompanied children in the Portsmouth area who are navigating the challenges of living in a new country without the support of their family.
Through workshops, English lessons, skill-building sessions, and community events NEST encourages independence, cultural exchange, and mutual support among the youth.
The young people can find connection and friendship, build resilience and
knowledge, whilst gaining the confidence to shape themselves and their futures.
If you or a young person you know could benefit from the NEST project please contact Alex (Youth Discovery – Project Coordinator) on: [email protected] or give him a call on: 07541016128
Alex can tell you more about NEST, the support available and give details of the weekly drop-in for young people.
