Fair Education Alliance are recruiting 12 new Youth Steering Group Members! 🎉

The Fair Education Alliance Youth Steering Group is a group of 25 young people with different experiences of the education system who all want to improve and make education fair. The group works together to change the future of education through campaigning, empowering young people, and influencing policymakers.

📅 Deadline for applications: Midnight on 22nd June 2025.

To take part in the Youth Steering Group, you need to:
– Be aged between 14-21 on August 1st 2025.
– Live in England and have been to school, college, or university in England.
– Be passionate about reducing inequality in education.

You do not need:
– Any previous experience of being on a youth advisory group or doing youth social action.
– Any specific qualifications or a certain level of education.
– To be based in London.

Priority will be given to underrepresented young people, including those who face barriers to their education. This year, we are particularly keen to hear from young people who have experienced the care system or alternative provision education settings, and those living in London, the North East and South West of England.
