Unloc, a social enterprise working with schools and colleges to inspire, motivate and develop entrepreneurship in young people, has joined forces with Westminster City Council to launch a new and free competitive event for young people with entrepreneurial flair across the borough – the ‘Big Enterprise Competition: Westminster’.

The Challenge invites budding entrepreneurs in Years 7 and 8, from any state or independent school in the Borough of Westminster, to participate in an inspiring day-long event exploring entrepreneurship and creative problem-solving.

Throughout the day students will develop and build on key entrepreneurial skills such as problem solving, creativity and decision making. They will implement these skills through enterprise related tasks including marketing, finance and pitching elements of the challenge.

Schools will have the chance to come together to network with other schools in Westminster, see their students compete all while working towards Gatsby benchmarks 2, 3 and 5 for your school.
