Want to understand the career options open to you that go beyond university and working full-time for a business? This course will help you to explore and understand the different options available to you including apprenticeships, self-employment, and project working.

In 2018/19, almost 750,000 people were learning, working and earning through being an apprentice in the UK. Apprenticeships are growing in popularity everyday both in terms of companies providing them and in terms of people wanting to be on one. It’s important that all school and college students know that apprenticeships are a very real option for them.

Almost 5million people in the UK are self-employed and it’s a growing figure. More and more people are choosing to be self-employed. The course will help you to understand how easy it can be to be self-employed and break down some of the perceived hurdles to self-employment.

Project working is also becoming more popular as the labour market is shifting so rapidly, with people choosing to work for different companies over time to work on specific projects for short periods rather than dedicate their career to a particular sector or company. Use this course to learn more about project learning.
