Unloc.online

The British Youth Council is the National Youth Council of the UK. As a youthled charity, we empower young people aged 25 and under to influence and inform the decisions that affect their lives.

The Youth Voice Advisory Group brings together young people from the UK
Youth Parliament, national youth representative organisations, regional
representation and those with specific lived experiences.

It aims to engage with policy makers across UK Government and ensure youth voice is heard on key issues that impact young people’s lives.

This opportunity is open to young people aged 16-25 from across the UK.

The BYC support young people to get involved in their communities and democracy locally, nationally and internationally, making a difference as volunteers, campaigners, decision makers and leaders.

The purpose of the Youth Advisory Group is to:

  • Have a representative group of young people who are themselves linked to geographical or lived experience communities and networks.
  • Ensure diverse and intersectional experiences of young people across the UK are represented in Government.
  • Support Government policy-making and implementation, including developing and providing feedback on proposed Government actions.

Deadline is 5pm on  Wednesday 5th July
