Kids in Museums – Youth Panel members

Unloc.online

Youth Panel members

Kids in Museums wants to recruit six new people aged 16-25 to join its Youth Panel. The Youth Panel bring a wide variety of perspectives to their own projects and Kids in Museums programmes that help us address the reasons why young people don’t visit museums. They also share their views about young people in museums to our Board via our Young Trustees and are part of Board Committees. The Youth Panel meet on Zoom and are based across the UK.

We welcome applications from all young people and are committed to making our Youth Panel more representative of the UK. Youth Panel members do not require any specific qualifications (ie. GCSEs, A-Levels or a degree) to join. We’re particularly interested in receiving applications from individuals from global majority and working-class backgrounds and D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent young people. We are also looking to expand our geographical reach and we’re keen to see more applications from young people based in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
